I left and closed the door because I knew they were going to wanna talk in private. I joined the excitement, even though it died down a little."I just CAN NOT believe this." Madison squealed. She then stopped in her tracks to say, "Wait, I've never seen you before?" and pointed at Mourn. She looked embarrassed and so did I. But she boldly said "Hi, I'm Mourn. I'm 16 years old and a good friend of Jade's. And you are?" But then Mourn immediately got afraid again and shut her eyes tightly, bracing herself for pain. However, Madison stood up smiling and said "I'm Madison. I'm also 16 years old and a friend of Jade's. But you can just call me Maddy or Mads." Mourn beamed slowly and I could tell she felt relieved. They started to talk and get to know each other when I turned to Marcus. "So, your a new brother, huh?" I said and chuckled. "Yes. I was getting shots at the doctors office when they  found a blood match. I flew straight here when I heard the news. She was pretty excited. Still is... And so AM I!!!" he said and started to jump around like a little girl. I laughed and said "Did you tell her about your YouTube caree-whatever?" "Yeah, and turns out she has her own." "Oh that reminds me!" I said and ran to my room to set up for my weekly DemVlogsDoe videos.I started the video and began excitedly.

 Jade's POV

After I finished a swift knock at the door came. I bravely got up to answer it. When I opened the door I saw Madison standing there and almost screaming with excitement. She came in and said "Marcus Butler is my long-lost BROTHER!!!!! HE'S GONNA ADOPT ME!!!!" I heard 4 "What???"s and a faint. Most likely from Mourn. "You mean Marcus Butler, as in the British Youtuber, really hot, Marcus Butler???" I said almost speechless. After I said that I could literally FEEL an eyebrow being raised from Anthony."YEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!" screamed Madison. Then, unsurprisingly, Marcus walked in. In the midst of it all I realized, Mourn had someone who loved her, Madison had someone who loved her, did I? Kalel must've noticed because she walked up to me and said "What's wrong, kitten?" Anthony saw to and led me and her into a room and quietly closed the door. They both sat down waiting patiently and ready to listen. I SWEAR these are the best parents in the WORLD. I smiled weakly and spilled out EXACTLY what was on my mind. "It feels like Madison has a family, MOURN has a family, but... do I have a family?" "Of course you do!" Kalel exclaimed worriedly and immediately. "W-What are you trying to say, Jade?" Anthony said quietly, and really equally as worried. I took a deep breath and said loudly "Why didn't my real parents love me, Anthony??" He was completely speechless, like I knew he would be. "I, um, I-I don't know Jade... Um..." He said scratching his arm nervously. Kalel smiled and said wisely "It doesn't matter why. Nobody really knows. But what matters is where you are now. I mean look at you. Your beautiful, smart, got a great family, a great career, and amazing friends. I think your doing pretty good without them." "Thanks for the cliche, but it just bothers me that the family that raised me didn't do it right." "I think they did. Like Kalel said, look at you now." Anthony said, finally recovering. I smiled and hugged them both. "Thanks guys. Your the best family any idiot could ask for." and came to the door. I turned the knob, but before I could walk out, Kalel asked me something. "Do you love us?" It would sound like she doesn't know or isn't sure, but she really was just kidding, and was expecting the goofy answer I always reply with to show that I'm in a good mood. "As much as a Smosher could love." I replied using my usual answer.

One-Shots: Anthony's Broken Little Girl

Anthony's POV
I woke up to pounding on the door. I got up and threw on a sweatshirt and started to sleepily walk towards the door. Gunshots started to fire, coming from down the hall. That's when I started to run. I thought it might be Ian or Kalel, and that they might be in trouble.The pounding wouldn't stop and it kinda started to give me a headache. I reached the door and swung it open, only to find that it wasn't Kalel. Or Ian. In fact, it was some random little girl. My fatherly instincts made me pull her inside and shut the door quietly just in case somebody dangerous was after her. The gunshots stopped soon after. I turned around to discover the little girl shaking all over. I put my hand up to give her a greeting, but I'm guessing it looked like I was going to hit her, so she flinched. I was definitely NOT the type to hit anyone, and from looking at her, she really needed to now that. So, I squatted down and gave her a hug. She stopped sobbing for a minute, seeming confused, but after she realized that I wasn't going to hurt her, she cuddled up to me and bursted back into tears. I carried er over to the couch and sat her down on my lap to let her lay on top of me. She ended up crying herself to sleep.
(OOC- Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that this is how Jade and Anthony met. The setting is in Tokyo, Japan, and Kalel is out in downtown, and Ian is still in Sacramento.Jade was about 14 here and she was really small. That's kind of why he called her a little girl.)

 Mourn's Story

Mourn Hecox is an emo 16-year-old girl who was abused by her biological divorced parents daily from 3 to 15 years of age. She was abused in every way, sexually, mentally, physically, and even emotionally. She lived in Tokyo, Japan. When her neighbor caught the parents raping her, she was sent to an orphanage where everyone (kids, adults, EVERYONE) hated her for being weak. They took advantage of her fears (consisting of everything, since she was so damaged). She suffers from depression and panic attacks. Jade had come to the orphanage and helped Mourn. They became fast friends. Whenever Mourn was scared or hurt Jade was at her aid to save her from committing suicide or having people kill her. Mourn has grew stronger yet is still scared of most things. When Jade left for California, Mourn was scare out of her mind, but Jade told her to be strong, so she avoided everyone when possible. She promised Jade to never get into fights and she has kept the promise ever since Jade left. She planned to get jobs and save money to live in California with Jade and all of her friends. When she came, then she was immediately provided with ever-lasting friendships from the Smosh crew. Just 10 hours after she met Ian Hecox, he adopted her.

Jade is the aggressive (but still caring) adoptive child of Smosh. She has had a horrible past that only Mourn knows about. She was bullied in school, which is how she became aggressive. She is almost the definition of tomboy. She has her own skateboard, wears almost no makeup, and can’t stop wearing sneakers. Her interests include Pokémon, Mario, YouTube, music and sports. She is the captain of her baseball, soccer, football, and basketball team. She is on the swimming team at her local YMCA as well. She lives with Kalel and Anthony along with their cats, Buki and Pip. She has a blue-eyed Siberian husky puppy named Blaze. Her YouTube channels are called LilSlimShady and CittyCatCrazy. Her first channel (LilSlimShady) has over 8,000,000 subscribers. Her videos are her touring around the house and streets of her city, while rapping Eminem songs and dancing. She is known as the youngest person ever on YouTube, to reach over 5,000,000 subscribers. Her second channel (CittyCatCrazy) includes her doing miscellaneous challenges with different Youtubers, Connor Franta, Danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil, Tyler Oakley, and of course, Smosh. She also does vlogs every Friday. She ends all of her LilSlimShady videos with her dancing to Workin’ Day and Night by Michael Jackson.

I remember exactly how it happened. I was listening to Fall Out Boy when I heard a knock on my door. I thought it was my foster mom but instead it was someone I didn't expect at ALL. Anthony Padilla from the Youtubers SMOSH. I didn't realize how much h knew about me. Probably because my foster mom's boyfriend was Ian. After the day he first knocked on my door, we started hanging out together. Every morning he would wake me up with Jack in the Box. Then we went out to act like tourists and go sightseeing. He became my best friend. I was always kind of emo. I wore my hair just like Violet from the Incredibles. I wore a lot of dark colors. I never made friends. Ian's POV

I gave him a swift punch to the face and ran off the the kitchen with Mourn. I tossed Jade the knife (I was such a wuss and would hurt a fly). She caught it and went to deal with Mourn's dad. After she got back she said that he was "taken care of" and winked at Anthony. He nodded seriously and and we all gathered into the living room. We all sat down on the couches and chairs, anxiously staring at Mourn. Jade sat relatively close to her and she sighed. "Well, I have to tell you someday." And took a few deep breaths before starting.

I could tell by Anthony's expression that he was wondering where Mourn came from. I was wondering too, but I knew that she wouldn't tell a soul.I brushed it off easily and hugged Mourn back. We started talking about when the adoption date would be. That's when a knock on the dor came. "I'LL GET IT!!!" Mourn yelled in my face. I laughed the got up with her. When she answered the door I was still halfway there. On my phone. Then I heard her scream twice, once regularly loud and calling for help, and the other muffled. I ran to her in the nick of time to discover her biological dad  that she told me about...

Anthony's POV

After they pulled away Ian smiled warmly at her and then came over to me. I let him lead me into the office room. "What are they doing?" Jade asked. "Ian needs to talk to Anthony" Kalel replied beaming,  it was nice to know that there were people who knew me inside and out like that.  I shut the door quietly and shuffled my feet over to my desk chair. "What's up?" I said nervously.From the way that he was nervous I thought he was gonna tell me that he was getting married or something. "This is not about something that big man, chill." he said chuckling lightly. I let out a sigh of relief and laughed a little. Then he said "It's about Mourn. I kinds sorta think I wanna adopt her." "But you've only known her for 5 hours, dude." I said confused. ":I know, but i just..."Ian tried, failing in result of his own confusion. I chuckled and said "See what she really thinks of you, spend a little time alone with her, if she not afraid of you, or us, in 2 more hours,, then ask her if you can adopt her. That's my advice dude." I smiled and made the weirdest face possible  to cheer him up, and he laughed. I smiled a real smile and then opened the door to find EVERYONE in the room listening. Including Mourn. I was pretty surprised to see her reaction, because she grabbed the papers from Ian quickly. When she read them, she had wide-eyes, and sweaty hands. She looked back up at Ian and he gave off a nervous smile. We all thought that she would run away, but instead, she jumped on him for a hug.Everyone else awed and clapped. ut while doing so, I was thinking...we would all love to be her adoptive family and love her to death but,

Anthony's POV

After the party, everyone went in the office room to just hang out, more or less. Everyone except Mourn. When Ian asked if she was coming, she just said "I'll catch up, I have to go to the bathroom." I looked at the living room, which was a complete and utter mess, but I knew that we would procrastinate and just clean it up later. I didn't really think that she was going to clean it up for us.. But while everyone was was in the middle of a conversation about a new video that we were thinking about doing (Guys Guide to Being Fit), we heard the vacuum turn on. Jade led everyone into the living room to find, Mourn cleaning. The room. The counters and tables were spotless, and she mopped the floor. She had just turned off the vacuum when Ian finally spoke. "W-What happened?" he stuttered out, confusingly. "Well, I cleaned the house, so you wouldn't have to. That what I usually do in foster homes, so I thought I should it here too." She said nervously. "Well, I mean, uh... Thanks. A ton. But you didn't have to..." Kalel tried, still utterly amazed. It was never as clean as this. "Oh no, cleaning the house is a lot of work, so I thought I would do it for you." Mourn said again, a little quieter. "That was really nice Mourn." Jade finally said. I then glanced in the kitchen and saw that it was clean too. I walked over there, without anyone noticing and what I saw was pretty shocking. There were 10 Coconut smoothies on the counter. They all had green straws, except for one which was black. Most likely for Jade. I thought. Wait a minute, there isn't one for Mourn. "You don't want a smoothie?" Ian asked. "Oh, um they're for you. I-I don't need one." she said and walked off to put away the vacuum. I kept wondering why she was so nice to everyone else in the world, but mean and cruel to herself. I started to talk to Jade about it, and Kalel jumped in with a helpful answer. "Maybe she was abused..."We walked out of the kitchen and into the living room where we saw Mourn hugging Ian. "

I-I don't need one." she said and walked off to put away the vacuum. I quickly regained the ingredients and made one just for her. When I asked Jade what her favorite color was, sh quickly replied with " Baby blue." and smiled at me. I got out the color of straw and plopped it in there. I served it to Mourn when she got back and said, "You don't need it, but you deserve it." I grabbed my own from the counter and sipped it for a minute. I walked back into the living room and was then surprised with a big hug from Mourn. She quickly let go before I could hug back though. I looked into her eyes, they were such a pretty light brown.  Ian's POV

When we finished our walk home, with Mourn tagging along with us, she ended up telling us a lot about herself. She looked uncomfortable talking about it, but pulled through. We finally swung open the front door to reveal Something pretty surprising. Felix (Pewdiepie), Toby (Tobuscus), Tyler( Oakley), O2L, and pretty much every famous YouTuber yelling "Surprise!" "Whoa, what's this for?" Anthony asked smiling. "I dunno. We just thought we would all come over for a house party. Plus, Jade invited us." Felix said, grabbing a soda from the cluttered counter. We all turned to her completely lost. "What?, it's whatever Wednesday!" she beamed. Anthony and Mari bursted into fits of laughter, and I couldn't help but join.Tyler passed out these mini blue raspberry Icee's cups to us, and smiled. Mourn walked over to the empty couch, and then glanced at me. "Go on ahead." I said  proudly. She smiled weakly and sat down. Just to make her feel better I came over with my dessert and sat down next to her. Over the loud radio and talking and laughing, Mourn and I talked. Just staring at each other, wondering about each others lives and struggles. It felt good just to look at someone and know that they had your full attention.

 Ian's POV

*2 weeks later*
Mari had a cast on her leg, but still walked fine. Joven and Lasercorn  has casts ion one arm each. But they all insisted on still doing stuff on the Gaming channel;. Meanwhile, I've been living in Anthony's house. My mom said she was going to go into adult care. When I asked why, she just said that she didn't feel like caring for herself anymore. I chuckled lightly and smirked. Mari, Joven, Anthony, Jade and I were all walking down the street, heading to Anthony's. We were talking about what the new Smosh video would be. Jade was in front, so she ended up bumping into someone. "Omigod, I'm so sorry." She said giggling a bit from my terrible joke just seconds before. "No, it's totally my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going and-" the girl stopped and stared at Jade before shrieking. Jade ended up screaming with her. They hugged tightly, letting me assume that this girl was a friend of Jade's. She then pulled away and turned to everyone else looking embarrassed. "Guys, this Mourn. Remember, I told you about her?" Jade said. "Oh yeah! I remember." Anthony said, clearly NOT remembering at all. H politely walked up to Mourn and said "Hi, I'm Anthony, I'm the, er, legal guardian, of Jade!" cheerfully, yet nervously. Mourn stayed silent, and glanced at Jade. "It's okay. He won't hurt you." Jade whispered cheerfully,  Mourn cautiously walked up to Anthony, her eyes slightly watery. He gave a warm smile and she surprisingly smiled back.She then, completely unexpectedly gave him a hug. It took Anthony clearly by surprise, but he still hugged back.

Ian's POV

After the police cleared, we headed to the hospital to see Mari. We got to her room, and she was breathing through a tube, with wires and casts everywhere. The doctor came in and smiled weakly at me. "Hello, my name is Doctor Anna. Your friend , Mari, is in a coma." she said sadly. "2 weeks is the max time period." she said. Then Mari's heart rate quickened on the monitor. Her hands were twitching and she was moaning in pain. "She's awake?" Jade exclaimed confused. Madison was the first to come over to her and she held her hand. Anthony and Kalel were next and me and Jade exchanged eye contact, then followed. Mari sat up and when she saw us, her heartbeat slowed down. "W-What ha-happened???" Mari stuttered out. "A fire." I muttered. "Is everyone okay?" Mari said worried. "Everyone's fine, except for the fact that I don't have a house anymore." I said. "Oh my god!" Mari said loudly. "I's okay." I said reassuringly. But it wasn't okay. I didn't have a house. So what now?

 Buttercup's POV

I felt a hand on my shoulder and a turned around to meet dark green eyes. "You are coming with me." Butch harshly whispered. "No I'm NOT!!!" I shouted. I tried to run away, but he caught up quickly and grabbed a hold of me. I was so scared of him then. He had never been this dark or forceful. I tried calling for help but, he slapped duct-tape around me mouth and tied me. I was crying, screaming, kicking, and begging for help. I needed someone, anyone to help me. There was a whip in his truck that I noticed, and before I could get away he started to whip me with it.Thankfully, before Butch could throw me in his Black and Purple Avalanche to take me back to his house and kill me, I saw a dark red baseball cap heading Butch's way. Then out of no where, light blue pom-poms were thrown to the ground and made Butch trip nd fall. I smiled under the tape as I knew what was happening. I saw light red, and blue streaks across the sky and  heard a few whimpers from Butch. I was pulled to the side and untied. It was a dark night so all I could see were the glowing eyes of my sisters and friends.I saw a light red lipstick smile  come from Blossoms gleaming face. I felt a hug from everyone, and Boomer and Brick left to take Butch to jail. When they got back everyone was in tears. Pinkie Pie with her pretty ink hair bouncing up and down, like the rest of hwer body, came bouncing on a pogo stick. She saw me covered in blood from the whip, gasped and said "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT HAPPENED??" I smiled weakly at her and she weakly smiled back. "Let's just say, Butch was even more coco loco then usual." I said. She smiled widely and bounced to me for a giant hug. That's when I realized,

...Ian's House completely burnt down. There were firetrucks everywhere and police cars,. I spotted Lasercorn and Joven getting help in a paramedics car. But then I spotted Mari getting loaded onto a gurnie and into an ambulance. I then saw Sohinki crying. Ian's mom was beside him, rubbing his back while talking to a police car. I turned to everyone that was with me and I saw Ian left to see Mari, Kalel crying and squeezing my hand tightly, and Jade and Madi with a shocked expression on there faces. Jade's face turned from shock, to sadness, to anger. I was confused for a minute but then followed her gaze. I saw two people wearing masks get hauled off by police officers. One gt out of their hold and made a run for it. I was about to run after them, but Jade stopped me and rode her skateboard to them. She caught them in no time, and took them back to the police. She smiled for the first time, in a little while and went over to Lasercorn and Joven. I heard faint conversation but I couldn't hear because they were too far away. A police officer came over and smiled weakly at me. "The fire was started by two robbers. Your friend Mari had communicated with you at the wrong time. She was beat up by these robbers and left in the fire. Your friend, named Sohinki I believe helped her. You are very lucky, she has a slight concussion, and a few broken bones, but doctors are already on the case about that." She said in a very uncaring and robotic voice. She sighed and then patted me on the back saying "It will be fine Mr. Padilla. Don't worry." "Let's hope Kalel said warmly to the police officer. She walked away back to Ian's mom. I didn't even notice I was crying until I felt Kalel wiping a few tears off of my cheek.
